At Brashawin, every litter is raised with care, purpose, and intention. We are dedicated to ensuring that each puppy not only thrives in their early weeks but also has the very best foundation for a confident, healthy, and happy future.
We take a hands-on, ethical approach to raising our puppies. Each litter is carefully planned, and every puppy is nurtured with the same dedication we give to our own dogs. From day one, they are part of our family – handled daily, monitored closely, and given the right balance of structure, stimulation, and love. Our goal is to raise puppies that are sound in mind and body, ready to excel as companions, in the show ring, in sport or an active working capacity.
From days 3–16, our puppies go through the ENS program, a proven method that gently introduces mild stressors to help develop stronger neurological pathways. ENS has been shown to improve stress tolerance, resilience, cardiovascular health, and overall adaptability later in life. It’s a simple but powerful way we invest in every puppy’s long-term wellbeing.
Proper socialisation is at the heart of our program. Our puppies are gradually and safely introduced to:
People – including adults and children of different ages.
Household sounds – vacuum cleaners, washing machines, TVs, and the everyday noises of a busy home.
Surfaces & environments – grass, gravel, tiles, mats, ramps, and outdoor play areas to build confidence and adaptability.
This structured exposure helps them grow into well-rounded young dogs who take new experiences in their stride.
We believe in giving our puppies a head start. As they grow, we introduce:
Crate training – creating a sense of security and preparing them for future transitions.
Leash introduction – teaching the basics of walking calmly and confidently.
Grooming – regular handling, brushing, and nail care to make lifelong maintenance stress-free.
Car rides – short, positive experiences to help prevent travel anxiety later on.
These early lessons create puppies that are adaptable and ready for their next stage of learning.
As puppies develop, we gradually add environmental challenges such as tunnels, wobble boards, low platforms, and problem-solving games. These activities encourage confidence, coordination, and resilience while making learning fun. Everything is designed to be safe, age-appropriate, and rewarding, helping each puppy build a strong sense of curiosity and courage.
When you take home a puppy from Brashawin, you’re not just gaining a new family member – you’re also receiving the peace of mind that comes from knowing your puppy has had the very best start to life. Every puppy leaves our care healthy, well-prepared, and supported for the journey ahead.
Vet Checked – Each puppy receives a thorough veterinary examination before leaving us, ensuring they are healthy and thriving.
Vaccinated & Microchipped – Puppies are given their first vaccination and are microchipped as per state requirements.
Worming & Flea Treatment – Up-to-date with a regular worming schedule and preventative flea care so they leave in top condition.
Dogs Australia Registration – All puppies are registered with the Dogs Australia. This provides you with official pedigree papers and proof of purebred status.
Every puppy leaves with a thoughtfully prepared puppy pack, which includes:
A sample of the food they’ve been raised on, to help with a smooth dietary transition.
Toys and blanket that carries familiar scents from their litter mates and mum, providing comfort in their new home.
An information folder with health records, feeding guidelines, training tips, and useful resources to help you get started.
Perhaps most importantly, every Brashawin puppy comes with lifetime breeder support. Whether you need advice on training, health, diet, or simply want to share an update, we are here to help at every stage of your puppy’s life. Once you join the Brashawin family, you are never alone on your journey.
At Brashawin, our commitment doesn’t end when your puppy leaves our home. We never “sell and forget.” Each puppy we raise is part of our extended family, and we take pride in offering ongoing guidance and support for life. Whether it’s a quick question about diet, a challenge with training, or simply sharing your dog’s milestones, we’re always just a message away. Choosing a Brashawin puppy means gaining not only a loyal companion but also a breeder who truly cares – for the lifetime of your dog.
We understand how exciting it is to bring home a new puppy, and we do everything possible to make the transition smooth for both you and your new companion.
Puppies are ready to leave us at 8 weeks of age – not before. This critical time allows them to fully benefit from their mother, littermates, and the structured raising program we provide. Leaving earlier can negatively impact their development, so we strictly follow this standard for the wellbeing of every puppy.
We provide families with designated pick-up dates in advance, so you can plan ahead. We encourage all puppies to join their new homes at 8 weeks to ensure consistency in their development.
If you are unable to collect your puppy on the agreed date, we may be able to hold your puppy for a short period by arrangement.
Please note: additional boarding/care fees may apply to cover the extra time, feeding, training, and care provided.
While we prefer new families to collect their puppies in person (to meet us and allow your puppy to transition more smoothly), we understand this isn’t always possible. By arrangement, we can assist with safe and reliable transport options, including:
Interstate transport via approved pet carriers.
Delivery to major airports if required.
Your puppy’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priority, and we only use trusted, professional services when arranging transport.
The full price for a Brashawin puppy is $5,000, which includes a $500 non-refundable reservation fee to secure your place on our waitlist.
Your $500 reservation fee confirms your interest and helps us plan ahead for each litter. This amount is deducted from the final balance. Please note that the fee is non-refundable but may be transferred to a future litter under certain circumstances.
At Brashawin, puppies are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Instead, we carefully match each puppy with the family that best suits their temperament, lifestyle, and goals. Our priority is always the long-term success of both the puppy and the home they join.
We take into account your preferences, such as gender or coat colour, but cannot guarantee these will be available. Ultimately, our responsibility is to ensure each puppy is matched where they will thrive.
Puppy evaluations take place around 6–7 weeks of age, once we have a clear understanding of each puppy’s temperament, structure, and potential. At this time, families will be notified of their puppy match.
To join our waitlist, a completed application and reservation fee are required.
Families are updated throughout the litter’s progress with photos, videos, and information.
Final balances are due prior to puppies turning 3 weeks of age
If you feel a Brashawin puppy may be the right fit for your family, we invite you to complete our Puppy Application Form, click on the button below
This helps us get to know you, your home environment, and what you’re looking for in a puppy. Our goal is always to make the best possible match between each puppy and their future family.
Once we receive your application, we’ll review it carefully.
If we feel you may be a good match, we’ll be in touch to discuss further, answer any questions, and guide you through the next steps (including reservation).
Approved families will then be placed on our waitlist for an upcoming litter.
Submitting an application does not guarantee a puppy. We place puppies based on compatibility, not on a first-come, first-serve basis. Our priority is ensuring that every Brashawin puppy is matched to the home where they will thrive for life.
